These Terms govern your use of Zinwriter, operated by Retief Spierings ("Zinwriter", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Zinwriter provides AI-assisted writing tools including a humanizer, AI detector, chat assistant, and bulk processing. Features and limits depend on your plan.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Zinwriter. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account, and for providing accurate registration information.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes, fraud, spam, harassment, or to infringe intellectual property.
- Generate or distribute illegal content, malware, deepfakes, hate speech, or content that sexualizes minors.
- Probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass any technical limitation or security measure.
- Use outputs to deceive in contexts where AI assistance is prohibited (e.g. exams or assessments forbidding it).
4. Your content
You retain all rights to text you submit and to outputs you generate, subject to third-party rights. You grant Zinwriter a limited license to host and process your content only to provide the service. We do not train AI models on your submitted content.
5. AI outputs
AI outputs may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied on as professional, legal, medical or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before use, and for ensuring you have rights to any inputs you submit.
6. Payments & subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
7. Intellectual property
Zinwriter and its branding, software and documentation are owned by Retief Spierings. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in line with your plan.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep Zinwriter available and accurate but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, suspected fraud or abuse, security risk, or repeated violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zinwriter's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, the country where Retief Spierings (the operator of Zinwriter) is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
